DOUGLAS K. LEVIN

Leizl M. Tabon, CPA – PARTNER

Leizl began her accounting career in 2002, where she served in the predecessor firm for 14 years.  She is a specialist in a broad base of tax matters. 

Leizl earned her Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of San Francisco. She also did post-graduate study at Golden Gate University in Accounting and Taxation.

In addition, Leizl serves on the board of the Maui High School Foundation.

 

DOUGLAS K. LEVIN, CPA, MBT – Partner

Doug works with business owners and high net worth individuals on tax planning, with a focus on situations where the stakes are high—such as the sale of a business, restructuring, or complex ownership arrangements. His goal is to help clients clearly understand their options and make decisions that hold up both financially and from a tax perspective.

He regularly advises on stock vs. asset sale decisions, pre-transaction planning, and restructuring strategies. By modeling different scenarios, Doug helps clients see how each approach affects taxes at both the business and owner level, so there are no surprises after the deal is done.

Doug also has experience with the U.S. taxation of foreign activities, helping clients navigate cross-border ownership and understand how international operations affect their U.S. tax position.

Doug spent seven years as a Tax Manager at Deloitte and has been practicing on Maui since 2000. In addition to B.S. in Business Administration (UOP), Certificate in Accounting (CSUDH), he received a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.

 
LINDA LEIGH-HELBLING

LINDA LEIGH-HELBLING

Linda Leigh-Helbling – Tax director

Linda Leigh-Helbling is a Tax Director at Levin & Tabon with over 20 years of experience in individual, expatriate, and small business taxation. She works directly with clients on complex tax matters, helping them navigate nuanced issues and ensuring their filings are handled accurately and consistently.

She has significant experience in international and cross-border tax matters. Linda previously worked with Saudi Arabian Oil Company, where she managed U.S. non-resident tax compliance programs.

At Levin & Tabon, Linda leads clients throughout the engagement process, helping ensure issues are identified early and addressed clearly. She is often involved in more complex situations where experience and judgment are important.

Linda plays a central role in the firm’s tax practice, working closely with partners and team members to maintain quality and consistency across engagements.

Renee Montizor - Tax Manager

Renee Montizor is a Tax Manager at Levin & Tabon, where she works directly with clients and oversees the preparation of tax returns. She manages work performed by staff accountants, prepares draft returns for partner review, and helps ensure engagements are completed accurately and efficiently.

In addition, Renee handles the firm’s in-house bookkeeping services and assists clients with 1099 reporting and payroll filings.


 

Bill Lang - Senior Accountant

Bill Lang is a Senior Accountant at Levin & Tabon. He works closely with clients throughout the tax process, helping gather and organize information and ensure their questions are addressed promptly. Bill also supports the team in preparing tax returns and helps keep engagements moving efficiently.

 
 

Emily Sitting - Office Manager

Emily joined the Levin & Tabon team after working in retail management for nearly 20 years where she was able to hone her customer service and team building skills.  These attributes have contributed to running a friendly and efficient office for all of our clients and staff. 


 

Kanahele Montizor - Staff accountant

Kanahele joined us in 2025 and is a Staff Accountant at Levin & Tabon, where he assists with tax preparation and accounting services. He supports the team by preparing returns, organizing client information, and helping ensure engagements are completed accurately and on time.
